Situated between Le Vigan (30) and Ganges (34), in the gorges of the Herault, a favourite area for the amateurs of canoeing and hiking, at the bottom of the Mont Aigoual and the Cevennes National Park, SUMENE, administrative centre of one of the 7 "archipretres" which formed in the XVIIth century the diocese of Ales. In the vicinity of the campsite there are many varied and picturesque sites to appreciate (Grotte des Demoiselles, banks and gorges of Herault and Rieutord rivers, prehistoric and ancient remains).....
